Holidays in Dubai
Dubai is the financial center of United Arab Emirates. Dubai is an ultramodern town with incredible buildings like Burj Dubai, or many others. Dubai is called “Ibiza for rich people”. The night saloons are in every night full of people, especially on Thurstdays when the week-end starts here, and everyone has a DJ or an orchestra.
The transport to the hotel is not a problem, and it is also walk out is safe because here in Dubai, the infrationality is extremly rare.
Dubai is also considerated the center of shopping in Middle Orient, but the prices are very expensive.
Dubai is situated on the Persian Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates and is roughly at sea level (16 m/52 ft above). The emirate of Dubai shares borders with Abu Dhabi in the south, Sharjah in the northeast, and the Sultanate of Oman in the southeast. Hatta, a minor exclave of the emirate, is surrounded on three sides by Oman and by the emirates of Ajman (in the west) and Ras Al Khaimah (in the north).
I’ve been living in Dubai for the past few years. Here is the truth behind all the propaganda.
Why Dubai when you can go to much more civilized places? The nationals are bunch of savages who don’t work, drive like animals, gang rape women and abuse everyone around. Why you want to come here and give your money to them! You want beautiful beaches what’s wrong with Europe, Mauritius, Thailand, South Africa etc..
Everything is so expensive here, a pint of beer would cost you between 8-10 dollars! A Gin-Tonic or Bullfrog would cost you 18 dollars. So go figure. Go to night clubs in Sweden or Netherlands.
Shopping? so many shopping malls but what’s new.. all the same brands at the higher cost. Because every business must be sponsored by an Arab and they add a huge markup on the items. A Ralph Lauren T-shirt would cost you 110 dollars. Double the price you pay in States.
No civilization, first day you go see all the buildings, shopping malls etc, second day beach, third day a sand cruise, 4th day???? no museum, no sights to see..
These shinny buildings are all built by Asian workers who work 24 hours a day (it’s super hot here.. 45-55 degrees in summer) with the lowest wages. They live in the worst conditions in dirtiest camps.
Traffic is insane.. Are you going on vacation to sit in the car for hours. !! The city is crowded that you won’t believe.
Prostitution is everywhere, these girls have to health cards, they land from Africa, china, ex-soviet countries and who knows what kinda STDs they have. Protection has no meaning to Arabs.
I can go on and on.. Save you money and spend it in a better place…
